Visual Components has specialized in software solutions for 3D simulation in factory planning. This simulation is to be added to the KUKA product portfolio and is an important component when it comes to designing the factory of the future.
By joining forces with KUKA, Visual Components will be able to further improve and extend its entire value chain and deliver a first-class simulation solution for holistic factory automation. One of the cornerstones of the Visual Components product line is the extensive eCatalog, which provides a large cross-section of virtual manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to a broad library of industrial robots. Visual Components will continue to maintain and expand its list of supported robot models in the eCatalog to remain current for all major robot brands. In addition, Visual Components partners can continue providing solutions with necessary functionalities to simulate any robot for a wide range of applications.
KUKA’s experience as a robot manufacturer and solutions integrator, along with the company’s large network of suppliers, will improve Visual Components’ ability to continually create and offer new applications services for its customers.
