Matthias Wilhelm

Sales Director DACH and Team Lead

Matthias Wilhelm is Sales Director DACH at Visual Components and leads the German office of Visual Components GmbH based in Munich.

 

Together with his team he develops innovative strategies. He uses his keen instinct for solutions and added value that can be achieved through robotics and automation to advise companies and interested parties on how to achieve their goals. As a qualified mechanical engineer with a focus on the automotive industry, Matthias Wilhelm has built up an extensive network and in-depth expertise through his previous roles at companies such as Continental, ASCAD, CENIT AG and Autodesk. He uses this to successfully plan and optimise complex automation, factory and production projects.

Robert Flohr

Application Engineer

Robert Flohr has been working as an Application Engineer at Visual Components in Munich since February 2021. Previously, he gained valuable experience in the development of technology-supported assistance systems and digital twins as a master’s student in the field of robotics at Rolls Royce Deutschland Ltd. During his studies, he supported projects in the field of automation technology as a research assistant, including “Cockpit 4.0” in collaboration with Rolls-Royce and the Fraunhofer Institute. He gained his first experience in assembly technology during an internship at Robert Bosch Fahrzeugelektrik Eisenach GmbH, where he optimized processes and implemented solutions based on the principles of the Bosch Production System.

 

Wolfgang Nagl

Vice President International Sales, CADENAS GmbH

Wolfgang Nagl is Vice President International Sales for eCATALOGs and Digital Twins at CADENAS GmbH. As VP International, he brings a global perspective and supports component manufacturers worldwide in digitizing their product catalogs to gain a competitive advantage.

Previously, Wolfgang was a CADENAS customer himself and understands the challenges firsthand. As a native Austrian, he combines international experience with deep industry expertise. He regularly moderates the CADENAS Industry Forums and hosts the podcast DIGITAL (T)WIN, where he discusses the latest trends in digital twins and smart product data.

Together with Visual Components, he established the partnership and now provides valuable insights into how manufacturers and users can benefit from this collaboration.
